Why Quota
Everything about your limits.
Nothing in your way.
Every limit at a glance
One ring per tool, filling as you use it. Hover for the details: every limit window, when it resets, and your pace. Claude's numbers come from the same place /usage reads, so they never disagree.
Scroll to fill the rings
Know when an agent needs you
Each ring shows whether its agent is working, done, or waiting on you. A dot appears beside the folded notch when a session needs input — click it, or press ⌥⌘J, and Quota brings that exact terminal tab forward.
● Edit Sources/Notch/NotchView.swift ● Run tests ? Claude needs your input to continue
Approve Claude Code from the notch
When Claude Code asks for permission, the notch opens with the command, the file and the project. Allow, deny, or send it back to the terminal — without leaving what you're doing. Unanswered? The terminal asks as usual.
rm -rf build && npm run build
See the wall before you hit it
At your current pace, Quota works out when a limit will run out — and warns you half an hour ahead. It also knows which of your other tools still has room, so you can switch before you're stuck.
Build your own notch
Drag orbs onto the notch: settings, move, refresh, pin open, quiet mode, next reset, pace, best pick. Pick how they look at rest. Your notch, your way.
Pays for itself
Plan check watches four weeks of your real usage and tells you when a cheaper plan would cover it — or when you've outgrown yours. One tip can save more than Quota costs in a year.
Max 5x would likely be enough — save about
Your data never leaves your Mac.

Questions
Which tools does Quota support?
Claude (Claude Code and the Claude app), Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, Antigravity, GitHub Copilot, Grok, Kimi, OpenCode, Command Code, Devin/Windsurf, GLM, Kiro, DeepSeek, Qianwen, MiniMax, Ollama and LM Studio. Quota finds the ones already signed in on your Mac.
My Mac doesn't have a notch. Does it work?
Yes. Quota draws its own notch and can sit on any screen edge — top, bottom, left or right — on any display.
Why does macOS ask about my Keychain?
Claude Code keeps its sign-in in your Keychain. Quota asks to read it so it can fetch your usage from Anthropic. Choose "Always Allow" and it won't ask again. The sign-in never leaves your Mac except to go to Anthropic.
Is "approve from the notch" safe?
It's off until you turn it on. It adds one hook to Claude Code's settings, talks to Quota only on your own Mac over a token-protected connection, and if you don't answer, Claude Code asks in the terminal exactly as before.
What does "Unofficial" mean next to some tools?
A few providers don't publish a usage API, so Quota reads the same data their own apps use. It works with your existing login, but could stop working if the provider changes it — we mark those clearly.
What happens after the trial?
The rings dim and alerts pause until you buy. Your settings stay. Buy once and it's yours — no subscription.
Can I get a refund?
Yes — within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked. Just reply to your receipt email.
